Create your own glass art with special effects using glass frits, stringers and powders. Learn how to design and create a fused glass piece such as a platter or a small dish. This 2.5 hour class introduces many fundamental concepts related to creating glass objects in the kiln. After a brief overview, you will work with a wide range of glasses to make a 6 x 12 fused and slumped plate. Plates will be fired after the workshop and available for pick up a few days later. Stained Glass Workshops
Stained Glass - Lead or Copperfoil - 8 weeks
Little has changed throughout the centuries when you are talking about stained glass. Using time honoured techniques you will fabricate a panel using either lead or copperfoil depending on your design. In this class you will create a window of your choice, either square or rectangular up to 4 square feet. Personalize your home with a beautiful stained glass panel made by you!
